Set 1
1. Alone
The green haired girl just stared back into the boy's empty eyes; she can very well not read him in any way possible. She began to understand the boy's stance with words and labels, or formulate a conclusion that would satisfy her at least. He was formal and passive and relied heavily on words as opposed to her, who relied on emotion and face value. This intrigued her; he was a mystery she couldn't let go. It takes a lot to drown her optimism and it certainly takes a lot to silence her yet it only took a boy holding out candy to do both. She stared down at the candy with a blank look as if holding back whatever sea of emotion she's been fighting for the longest while. Without any word she went beside him and signaled that she will quietly follow all the while without meeting his gaze. It was only now after spending such time with this peculiar boy did she realizes that she was too scared to be alone.

2. Together
As long as we're together then everything will be fine. The green haired girl muttered as she played with her reflection in the lake. Not that its possible for them to be apart anyway, the girl realized not too long ago upon activating her powers. Even up till now, in such a strange place they are still quite inseparable more closer than that in fact. She would never fear the idea of independence or absence of company. They had each other now, regardless of what others may say, she will never be alone.

3. Tricore
People are never constant. It seems to be that way from the stories she heard from the other mages. There are days where people just disappear and new ones replace them. There are also days where people completely change, not into their special forms but a lot more different. They become someone entirely foreign. It makes Pomelo wonder what would happen if she herself got caught in the wave. What person or what monster will she turn into? One things for sure; She wouldn't mind being the latter.

4. Memory
Sometimes it feels eerie. Like the world gets distorted and you lose yourself to another place where everything is different and yet not at all. Déjà vu?
It was morning; I was sitting outside of town admiring the warm breeze. It is now dark. I’m in a room, cold and alone. My long candy colored sleeves now plain white and embracing me. I hear adults outside. A glaring light above my face opens, everything is white, I was then surrounded by what looked like masked ghosts. . I hear weird sounds, an unrelenting beeping and crying then silence.
Snapping back into reality I woke up to find that it was morning….
5. Craving (past)
Sweets are like medicine. It helps you feel happy and drowns down the pain of any mishaps and injury. This must be why kids like sweets a lot, childhood is a process of mistakes and accidents where the feeling can be easily remedied by sugar. Pomelo knew all too well about this and she happily accepted the sweets the adults would give. She also knew that sweets can't cure everything. Regardless, she spent a good long time eating a lot of sweets back then in that room...she ate for two.
Set 2
6. Blood
Ouch! The girl exclaimed as she pricked her finger on the needle of her rose brooch. A trickle of blood slowly forming a ruby colored bud as it streamed out. She sucked on her finger, absorbing back the rust tasting liquid. There! All back where you belong. She was then reminded of some friends who get worried over such a silly thing. Blood wasn't something she isn't used to. It did not make her squeamish at all since it is something natural and we all have it. But the thought...the thought of how fragile people are over their dependence on it haunts her a bit.

7. Smile
People often choose a default face and atmosphere when they're in public. It is usually how they want to present themselves to others and how they wish to be remembered. Upon arriving to this world Pomelo had nothing to begin with. No memories, no past and no impression. Except for the name she was given and tidbits of her personality, her entire being was completely wiped clean. She fiddles with the brooch that she felt had an importance where she finds a desert spoon latched on the pin. She stares at the tiny utensil staring at her warped reflection looking back at her. The image making her laugh, a feeling she likes and an expression that feels right to her. Upon hearing the sound of a stranger approaching, she hides her spoon and greets them "Good day friend, I'm Pomelo!"
...she smiles....

8. Blue
The petals on her brooch shone bright at the glow of the moonlight. The waters and skies were pitch black. Only her rose reminded her of how blue the world could be when daylight hits.
Darkness isolated while the moonlight accented the rose's presence, leaving the girl in deep thought. The details are a bit blurry but she was sure that this brooch was given to her by someone she truly loved. There was a strong drive in her to do something but she can't quite remember what. Bathed in the blue, she let the flickering lights guide her to sleep.

9. Cute

Swinging her legs playfully as she lay on the flowery fields, Pomelo couldn’t help but think about all the boys she met in Fry’st. She is a girl after all and its only normal to think about stuff like that, right? She reasons with herself, smiling at the thought of such childish things. She met a number of kind young gentlemen along the way, each of which left an impression on the young girl. She picks a flower and plays with it, plucking each petal as she mentions each boy. “The gentleman was quite intriguing, I wonder if I should visit him sometime…”  *plucks* “…that angel was fun to be with—-too bad I didn’t ask where he stays at…sigh” *plucks* “that blue haired boy was nice as well, I wonder if he’s still at the fountain?” *plucks* “…who else…oh that red head…no good JERK” She exclaims as she subconsciously pound the remaining flower on the ground repeatedly. She lays on her back and begins punching the air vigorously, letting loose every childish emotion she has suppressed  ”Who needs men anyway. When I see him I’ll give him a good amount of my time!”

10. Injury
The infirmary in this town seems to be packed with the hustle and bustle of nurses attending to kids. Some seem to be badly wounded than most. The ward wasn't a bad place to be regardless of the atmosphere. On the contrary, for the girl, it felt like home. The sound of running nurses and the wheels of a gurney being reeled in surround Pomelo, for a brief moment she saw a trail of people in white pass by like a bunch of masked ghosts and disappear into the hallway.

Set 3
11. Star(s)
There is a twinkle in my eyes you see. They are clear and sparkle like the lights in the sky. Ever glowing, ever beaming. These windows to the soul, my eyes shine vivid with glee. It shows my unwavering joys, my dreams, my child like wonder, my innocents and everything that should make up me. A facade of the present, the truth of the past, still lingering and holding on as it blinds me from the current.
They are like starlight, those things far from the past, they shine bright. Hiding the dead star behind the light.
12. Challenge (non-canon)
Staring at their reflection from outside the convenience store, the green haired boy takes a deep breath and prepares himself to confront the teenage red head. He quietly peeks in only to find out that the man he was hoping to meet was no where to be seen. Relieved, he decides to look around the store, admiring the already stacked rows of merchandise that was absent on his first visit. It was a waste though, Pomelo practiced for days her transformation and how intimidating and serious she wanted to portray herself only to have picked a wrong time to pass by. He then sat beside the window, passing the time and practicing his speech to whatever he plans on telling the teenager. Muttering to himself in the empty store alone with no one but a red head kid by the counter that looked a bit younger then him.

13. Discovery
The world was cold but the atmosphere was warm. She had just met the older girl and yet she already felt quite attached to the lady already. She grew fond of her with every moment they shared. The lady didn't talk much if at all and yet they were both able to exchange lengthy conversations with each other. Pomelo's eyes shone vivid as the Lady taught her things she didn't know about the world and herself. It was then that she learned how to use her abilities- which didn't impress her as much but realizing she can switch genders was pretty entertaining. Especially when she quite fancied her alter form.

14. Confusion
She wanted his help but the older boy did nothing but mention the word "hooker". She has never encountered the word before but she understood the bword "hook" and relating it to fishing, she questioned why the man kept denying he was a fisherman. All the girl ever wanted was to assist his aid as a guide. To add insult to injury the man even had the audacity to question how sugary sweet she was. Of course she won't have any of it. It was high time someone called the manager on this boy. May justice be swift!

15. Hug
The embrace of the cold mist envelops the girl as she sat by the lake next to a kind stranger. She was lost and sought the company of another as a reprieve from her predicament. The air was thick and musty at that time. The mood of the place didn't help her current disposition at all. She was upset but not enough to break her smiling expression. The rain started to fall, it was cold, it was dark, it made her hair cover her eyes and she was thankful for it.

Set 4
16. Suspicion
She was told countless times that the fountain was a bad place to be. It was a place where monsters come out and where the dead would send messages to the living. The thought of such gave her mix fillings. The idea was absurd and the thought where monsters and the dead living in one place scares her. Could that fountain be a gate to heaven and hell? Could those two planes be the same place. Is this where we'll all end up, is this where you are? She stares down at the fountain staring at her own reflection trapped in the cold dark waters. The thought made her queasy.

17. Work
Its another day and the daily routine of bumming around on the ground is starting to get on the girl's nerves. She punches the air only to be slapped by her ridiculously long sleeves. "PHUWAH! My word! Why do I even have such peculiar clothing its just absurd!" she exclaims, frustrated at her predicament. She contemplates on a change of wardrobe but to do so would require her to get a job. Where to begin and where to look and what service to offer? These questions ran in her head ultimately giving her a head ache. "I GUESS...I'll just try every opening and see where I'd last." With that the girl went back to her original position and admired the afternoon breeze succumbing to lethargy.

18. Funny
What a peculiar girl she is. Those would be the thoughts of most who have met their acquaintance with her. The girl was aware of how exaggerated and absurd her mannerisms can get. She didn't mind the surprised looks or entertained laughter she gets from the others. In fact, she tries her best to even get the slightest of reactions from them. Everything was an act to her and the more comical her speech and gestures are the more she felt accomplished. To her this was a means to make an impression and a means to stay on guard.

19. Soft
The snow was soft. She lay there beside the pale angelic boy, admiring the little snow angel beside her then frowning at her own sad attempt at making one. No matter how hard she tries, her clothes made the silhouette warped and far from resembling an angel.  The boy spoke with urgency, warning the girl about how this world works but his words were drowned by the tired and distracted thoughts of the green haired girl. She just lay flat for a brief moment letting everything and everyone drown out from her mind as she admired the strange snow.
20. Disphere
It was a pity. It was Pomelo's first town event and her first chance at wearing a fancy dress to flaunt at a ball. She was lucky to find a roommate, she didn't mind not having a date either. It was unfortunate for her though that due to unforeseen circumstances she was not able to attend. She told her friends that it was cause she accidentally tore a part of her dress but that wasn't the case really. It was just, to put it simply, her nerves taking over.
